Prince Harry’s stealth meeting with Charles lasted 15 minutes: report

The stealth meeting between Prince Harry and Prince Charles at Windsor Castle on Thursday morning lasted only 15 minutes and occurred at the Queen’s insistence, according to a report.

The brief meeting came after Harry and Meghan Markle went to visit the Queen before a Holy Thursday service in St George’s Chapel with other family members, the Daily Mail reported.

Harry and Megan escaped the paparazzi by arriving at the royal residence in a vehicle with blacked-out windows before 10 am, the report said, citing a source.

After Harry said goodbye to his father, he and Meghan continued into the Queen’s private apartment, where the atmosphere was much calmer, the Daily Mail reported.

The relationship between the Duke of Sussex and his father has been in crisis since Harry and Meghan split from the royal family two years ago.

Harry also beat up his father during an all-out interview with Oprah Winfrey in which he claimed that Charles had cut him off financially.

Thursday’s last-minute visit to Windsor Castle had to take into account the Queen’s recent health problems after contracting COVID-19 earlier this year. She was not present at the service.

The couple reportedly arrived in London after an overnight flight from Los Angeles without their children: 2-year-old Archie and 10-month-old Lilibet. They were reportedly crossing en route to a sporting event in the Netherlands for injured veterans.
